User Data Deletion Request

1. Overview

You can ask us to delete personal information we hold about you in connection with your Krtiv account. After we verify your request, we will delete or anonymise eligible data from our active systems, subject to limited retention required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.

2. What we delete

When your deletion request is approved, we typically remove or anonymise:

• Account profile details (name, email, mobile number, profile picture references).
• Authentication links for local, Google, or Facebook sign-in associated with your Krtiv user record.
• Saved itineraries, saved places, and related dashboard trip data tied to your account.
• Other personal content you submitted that is stored against your user ID, where reasonably practicable.

3. What we may retain

We may retain limited information where needed to comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce our Terms, prevent abuse, or maintain security logs (for example, truncated identifiers or records of the deletion request itself). Aggregated or anonymised analytics that cannot reasonably identify you may also be retained.

4. How to submit a deletion request

To request deletion of your Krtiv user data, email us from the address associated with your account (or clearly state the mobile number / Facebook account email used to sign in) with the subject line “Krtiv Data Deletion Request”.

• Include: full name used on Krtiv, sign-in method (email, mobile OTP, Google, or Facebook), and the email/mobile linked to the account.
• Optional: any additional detail that helps us locate your account securely.

5. Instructions for Facebook Login users

If you signed in to Krtiv with Facebook Login and want your Krtiv-held data deleted:

1) Send a deletion request using the email steps above, mentioning that you used Facebook Login.

2) You may also remove Krtiv’s access from Facebook: Facebook Settings → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → remove Krtiv / related app permissions.

Removing the app in Facebook stops new data sharing from Facebook to Krtiv. A separate email request to us is still required for us to delete data already stored on our systems.

6. Verification and timeline

We may ask for reasonable verification to confirm you are the account holder before deleting data. Once verified, we aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days (or sooner where required by law). You will receive a confirmation when the request is completed or if we need more information.

7. Effect of deletion

After deletion, you will no longer be able to sign in to the deleted account, and saved itineraries or places linked to that account will no longer be available. You may create a new account later if you choose to use Krtiv again.
